SoFibonacci at nostrAsia

This site relies brb.io relays and will be available soon

Despite the fact that today may (or may not) be a Tuesday in June, this is a very long sentance centered on the page with a few fun span tags thrown in simply for good measure.

What is Nostrasia? nostrasia

The second official (un)conference celebrating the technical and social aspects of the NOSTR protocol and ecosystem, NostrAsia is a 3-day event run simultaneously in Tokyo, Hong Kong and virtually. This series of nostr conferences is billed as FREE & FREEING.

Nostr is a different kind of social media experience. It frees people from platforms. NOSTR WORLD conferences celebrate nostr's community and its open permissionless building spirit.
Conference online events, in-person admission tickets & shared meals are free. (thanks to jack!)

Why We're Attending

Tokyo, Nostriches, yada yada yolo

Why We Nostr

Where to begin? ...

We're Presenting

let's nostr! You read that right; we are excited to share our own Experience Report to a multilingual audience in Tokyo. The title of our session is:

"Let's Nostr! a father and daughter's pair-programming journey"

Within our 45-minute session will demonstrate four sites that we built together using Nostr and talk about the process of pairing to learn together.

To view our presentation materials, visit our Let's NOSTR! page.

Volunteering

Look for us helping out. One of us may be translating some of the presentations, the other is looking for stuff to tidy up.

Exploring Tokyo

Tokyo is a craxy cool and wildly sprawling metro. Although we will primarily be within Shibuya, there's so much more of Tokyo (and Japan) to get out to see. This trip we might be wander west to Kitazawa or hop on the Yamanote-sen to visit Akiabara or the grounds of Imperial Palace, but most of our free time will exploring the shopping and eating areas between Shibuya and Harajuku.

To whet your whistle, here's a map of some vinyl record shops.

Whwew! What a trip. Here are a few highlights.
